I am so excited to introduce a new project i’ve been working on designed to test my creativity, meet talented creatives who inspire me, and connect with local businesses who might not be in the wedding industry.
WHAT IS IT?
The Social Project is a monthly event where I spend an afternoon with a local business owner learning how to do what they do. I’ll be asking questions about their business, and what makes them get up every day so excited to do what they do. The entire day will be documented by a local photographer, giving all of us some social content to use afterwards, and really encouraging connection between individuals we might not normally work with on a day to day basis.
MY WHY
Someone recently asked me what gets me excited during my day – and without fail, every time I am collaborating with others, or in a room discussing business with some incredible boss babes; even just during design meetings with vendors for some of my clients, my heart feels so full and I am left feeling so inspired. I wanted to take that feeling and channel it into something that not only benefited me, but benefited others.
I also believe as entrepreneurs, and as women, that we need to support one another. It’s one thing to sit in a room and talk about our big ideas together, but I wanted to take it one step further and give everyone an opportunity to really show off what they do. This project is designed to promote engagement from our followers on social media, to increase social followers and establish awareness for what we do best, it is also an excuse to get to know one another so we can create a totally bad-ass network of creatives.
